Just like most girls in this planet, I also wear makeup. Not because I consider myself to be ugly, nor because I have something to hide, simply because I like to see myself looking a bit different from time to time. Like I usually say, I use makeup to enhance my beauty.
I have a sun-rays allergy that mainly affects my face and for that reason, I always prevent using products that can cause any health problems. Since I’m living in London and the sun rays are not that strong I haven’t experienced any skin issues, which is good. But, I don’t have the same luck when I go on holiday.
My makeup routine is very simple and it’s also super cheap. I tend to stick with the same products, just because I’m not comfortable adventuring with new products that may cause my skin some irritation. I like my makeup to look as natural as possible. For that reason, my product list is super tiny.
I always start by using Vaseline Cocoa Radiant (intensive care) body gel as my moisturiser as it helps me with my dry skin. I’m currently priming my face with Kiko Matte Face Base it has a very smooth formula and texture that I love. I do my eyebrow first using MUA Eyebrow Pencil (Brown) for a more soft and natural look and Kiko Universal Stick concealer (06) to make it look neat. My foundation has always been the same, Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid (60-Caramel) is the perfect match for me and its also SPF which is a plus.
For contour and highlight, I use L.A Girl Pro Conceal HD in Pure Beige and Espresso. I personally don’t use too much of this product because I always want my face to look as ‘natural’ as possible yet clean and glowy. For most of the time, I only contour my face to make it look ‘less’ round, highlighting is not a must. I also don’t bake my face as I’m not a huge fan of powder products. I love highlighters and I’m currently obsessed with the Kiko Arctic Holiday (02-Starry Gold), I always apply it on my cheeks and brow bones. Mascara is also not a must but I have been using Kiko Standout Volume waterproof mascara, it gives me the right amount of volume and length. To finalise my face, I use Mario Badescu Facial spray as my setting pray and also to wet my beauty blender and make up brushes.
